Identified

Current Status from cloud service provider : We’ve identified that the impact was caused by a power failure at the East US data center, resulting in several network devices, TORs (Top-of-Rack switches), MORs (Middle-of-Rack switches), and at least one storage scale unit going offline. This led to outages affecting virtual machines and other services. Multiple teams are actively engaged and investigating next steps to restore full service. The next update will be provided in 60 minutes, or as events warrant.

Impact Statement: Starting at 02:34 UTC on 14 Aug 2025, you have been identified as a customer using Virtual Machines in East US who may experience connection failures when trying to access some Virtual Machines hosted in the region. These Virtual Machines may have also restarted unexpectedly.


Cloud service provider is investigating on this issue. We will keep posting here for further updates
